  1. Admission is open to all, irrespective of class, creed and community.

  2. Children are admitted from class III. They are required to take a test in Hindi, English and Math's and there is an oral interview in which the candidate must qualify before admission.

  3. There is a Registration fee Rs.5000/- per child (for overseas boys US$200) which is neither refundable nor transferable.

  4. Children of class III to V are offered admission (subject to registration and vacancies occurring) on the basis of their performance in the entrance test. At present vacancies in classes IV and V are few and in classes VII to X rare. A few vacancies occur in class XI.

  5. Registration done in any particular year is NOT transferable to any other year. Fresh registration will be required, if the child is to be considered for another year.

  6. It is to be noted that registration does NOT mean admission, which will depend on the number of vacancies at the time of admission.

  7. The School must be informed of any change of address. Offers for admission are date lined, and automatically lapse if a reply is not received by the stipulated date. Enquiries/registration forms should be addressed to: Admissions Office, Welham Boys' School, Dehra Dun 248001.

  8. The admission of a child to the school is on the understanding that his parent or guardian delegates his authority to the Principal during the term and that the boy comes under the School Doctor for matters of health.

  9. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the School. The admission of a child will mean a complete acceptance by the parent/guardian of all the School Rules in force or as amended form time to time.

  10. All new admission are on probation for a year. Boys who make little progress owing to persistent idleness or other reasons may be required to leave at the end of a term.

  11. The school reserves the right of refusing admission/re-admission.
